筆者在教學中嘗試采用了以下幾點作業布置方法:
(一)分層布置作業
分層布置作業承認個體差異,因材施教,“讓每個人的個性得到自由地發展”(馬克思)。因此,我們應改全班統一,忽視個性差異的作業為層次性作業。教師在設計英語課外作業時要從學生的實際情況出發,分上、中、下三個層次來設計,考慮個別差異。值得一提的是,教師在布置作業時,不能硬性規定哪些學生做哪類作業,否則會傷害學生的自尊心,挫傷學生積極性,要讓學生自主選擇,要讓每一位學生都感到“我能做,我會做,我想做”,從而體驗成功的喜悅。這樣,作業內容分層、數量分層、時間有短期和長期之分,在內容上安排較合理的梯度,讓具有不同層次的學生在基礎和能力上各得其所,而且不斷提高其層次,既調動了學生的積極性,又能激勵學生的競爭意識,關注了每位學生的成長和進步。
(二)動手制作,激發興趣
結合每次的教學內容,學生學習程度,布置相應的書面作業和口語作業。以往布置的作業基本上是抄抄寫,讀讀背背。但經過第二次課的課前檢查來說,只有近三分之一的學生認真對待書面作業,而其余的三分之二學生只是為了完成作業而完成作業。口語作業,家長有時間在家督促學生的,完成效果基本沒有問題。若家長沒有時間督促,口語作業大部分學生只是應付差事。筆者任教年級是小學三年級,小學生從三年級開始學習英語,教材是外語教學與研究出版社的新標準小學英語三年級起始使用第一冊、第二冊。第二冊書中出現英語二十六個字母學習任務。烏魯木齊市天山區教研室規定講英語二十六個字母教學任務可以提前到第一冊,開學前一至兩周進行。
在教授英語二十六個字母后,利用課堂最后五至十分鐘可以讓學生大寫字母與小寫字母一起抄寫練習,熟悉書寫筆畫、字母在四線三格中的位置、手寫體與印刷體區分,課堂中進行面批,發現問題及時糾正。家庭作業布置書面作業和口語作業,不是簡單的抄寫字母,背字母。書面作業:筆者在上課時拿出自己做出的字母卡片為例,請學生參照老師制作的卡片,在家制作字母卡,第二次課時,在班中評選小小制卡員。第一次要求制作兩張卡,每人制作的字母不能一樣。卡片可以結合自己的愛好,創新制作,但一定要求畫四線三格。在制作過程中學生會想到自己的卡片要在班中評比,肯定會非常認真的書寫自己負責的兩個字母卡片。口語作業:把自己制作的字母卡上的字母給家長教讀。
(三)繪畫形象記憶
筆者在平時的教學中只是簡單的布置,抄寫單詞、讀單詞、背單詞。在檢查作業時,發現,單詞的字母拼寫出錯較多,讀單詞、背單詞的學生只能達到三分之一或三分之二。完成的效率很低。結合此種情況,筆者將書面作業布置改為抄寫單詞,講英語作業本,折四下。一行抄寫四個單詞。第一行抄寫單詞小寫字母,第二行抄寫單詞大寫字母,學生再抄寫過程中就會不斷地看字母的大小寫和拼寫。這樣既復習了英語字母書寫又熟悉了英語單詞拼寫,而且書寫的作業很少學生認為對他們簡單,就會認真對待。以單詞“milk”為例,第一行寫milk,寫四遍。第二行在對應milk的下面寫milk。口語作業:將家里的物品標注英語單詞。以牛奶為例,學生可以在牛奶向上用彩筆寫單詞milk 和milk給家長說說自己今天學習了那些單詞。在第二次英語課的時候可以帶來一些便于攜帶的物品,有些不便于攜帶的物品,可以請學生畫出圖形,標注對應的英語單詞,給同學們展示他標注物品的英文名稱并且給同學說說自己標注的是什么單詞、什么意思,在班級中評選小小翻譯員。這種方法技能復習單詞、字母的書寫、拼寫、朗讀、漢意,同時可以使學生在家中完成英語作業的興趣得以提高,并能將所學習的美術知識與英語知識相互結合運用。
在單詞書寫作業布置過程中,我發現有學生單詞抄寫的準確率逐步提高,記憶單詞有所進步,但不能準確說出中文意思。即:讀單詞、知道如何拼寫,不知道中文意思。根據此現象,在作業布置時,單詞抄四遍,在第一個單詞下面漢意寫一遍、第二個到第四個單詞之間,用圖形表示抄寫單詞的漢語意思。在作業批改過程中和與學生交流過程中,我發現更為喜歡運用圖形表示單詞意思,而且單詞漢意記憶效果明顯提高。更形象更生動,記憶更深刻。

一、學習課標、明確教學目標:
我通過對新課改的學習,認識到小學英語教學最重要的是激發孩子們學習英語的興趣,培養他們學習英語的積極態度,使他們建立初步的學習英語的自信心;此外還要培養孩子們的語言運用能力,通過活動型的教學突出語言的趣味性和實際性;在此基礎上,結合泉塘小學的實際情況,我認為有必要幫助孩子們了解世界和中西方文化的差異,拓展孩子們的視野。
二、扎實備課、改善教學措施:
我起初設想課堂盡量全英化,可以在一定程度上培養孩子們對英語的興趣,同時形成良好的語感;另外,創新運用各種不同英語教學法來輔助教學,開展一些有趣的活動、游戲讓學生在輕松的氛圍中學習英語,我認為這是在小學教學中最有效的教學方法;我還一直堅持努力創設英語情景和環境,使學生們在一定的英語語言環境里習得第二語言。
做到生活中有英語,英語中有生活最重要的是要鼓勵學生大膽說英語,肯定他們的進步(尤其是英語基礎不好的學生),樹立學生的信心,培養學生朗讀和書寫的習慣;
在課堂中,我一般會多教授chant和歌謠或小故事,充分利用教科書中的課文創設栩栩如生的情景,如打電話、問路、看病等,為學生提供使用英語進行交流的機會。
三、階段性教學效果
從知識掌握程度上來說,呈現兩極化的趨勢,部分孩子的英語水平確實得到了很大提高,完全達到了我的教學目標所設定的要求,比如說我班的唐藝同學,在期末考試中輕松的取得了100分的好成績;
本次試卷題量、難度適中,沒有聽力題,都是筆試,題目類型符合小學生的心理特點和教學目標要求,既能考察學生對于英語書本上的基礎知識的掌握情況,也考察了學生在實際情況中對于英語的運用情況,比較全面。
二、考試情況統計
本次三年級參加考試的有2 個班級,共144人參加考試。其中最高分為100分,最低分為14分,優秀率是40%,合格率是90%,不及格率是10%,平均分是82.03.
三、試題具體情況分析
第一題,看圖片,寫單詞。主要考查的是課本的五個重點單詞,能夠聽、說、讀、寫。大部分學生掌握得比較好,書寫正確、規范。小部分同學個別單詞不會書寫、書寫占格不規范。在今后的學習中更要加強單詞的書寫練習。
第二題,火眼金睛,選出不同類的單詞。考查對詞匯量的掌握情況,但是其中第五小題有兩個答案,不太嚴謹。其他小題完成較好,難度較低。
第三題,數一數,寫出對應的數字。主要是考查對1-10數字單詞的掌握情況,難度適中。學生們做的不錯,有部分學生由于不會寫單詞,導致單詞錯寫而失分。另外,對單詞掌握情況較差,對此要加大力度提高學生對單詞的書寫,可采用多種形式以引發學生喜愛背單詞,改變以往死記硬背!
第四題,單項選擇題。難度適中,但有一部分學生因為馬虎而導致錯誤,主要是一些簡單對話選擇,學生對句子的理解還有一定的難度,以后要加強學生對句子的理解和練習。
第五題,送小動物回家。主要考查學生對動物單詞的掌握情況,并能區分農場動物和動物園的動物。本題掌握得不錯,完成較好。
第六題,正確抄寫下列句子。本體主要考查學生的規范書寫,注意單詞首字母要大寫、單詞間注意間隔、加上標點符號。本題完成得較好,只有個別同學書寫占格不規范,書寫較亂,今后教學中要用四線三格磁條,規范學生書寫。
第七題,選擇相應的答語。難度適中,主要考查簡單的對話,只要平常學習中多讀多說完成此類型的題是很容易的。大部分學生掌握得不錯。
第八題,閱讀理解,選擇合適的答案。根據短文內容選擇合適的答案,難度適中。主要考察學生對句子的理解情況及認真閱讀的能力。
